JUR: Farewell

I am grateful for the opportunity during the past academic year to serve as referee for The Journal of Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Excellence at Colorado State University. As a referee, I reviewed research papers and projects submitted to the journal for publication. I played the important role of peer-reviewer and provided valuable feedback to undergraduate researchers on areas such as interpretation, methodology, statistical analysis, and arguments.  I specifically was call upon to examine psychology-based research. The psychology major is one of the most popular college majors and sees the highest admission rates in universities across this nation. Due to this fact and that JUR is a national peer-reviewed journal, I saw many submissions.

I graduated from my undergraduate program at the University of Alaska Anchorage two semesters ago and was only eligible to serve one additional semester. With the beginning of the new semester I will no longer be serving as referee for JUR as I will be moving on to graduate studies. I again am thankful for this experience.
